Being absent for 2 months means you`ve missed a lot of lectures, quizzes and even preliminary examinations. Unless you`re an A student, you`ll probably have a hard time catching up. That will show in your grades. Those ratings will be important when you`re applying for work.

Since you haven`t enrolled yet, why don`t you just skip this semester and register on the next?
